A PROCESS DESIGNED TO DELIGHT
Each customer comes to Woodcliff Builders with plans and expectations, and we do our best to ensure the entire process is a journey that brings delight. Here’s how.
We believe that if more contractors were straightforward and transparent, there would be much less fear in beginning construction projects. To that end, we promise to work with you and communicate with you at each step so you know exactly what is being done and what it will cost.
It all begins with ideas! We can’t help you build your dream home unless you know what you want. This phase involves gathering all your concepts, inspirations, and requirements together so that we can begin estimating costs and project timelines.
Every homeowner wants a beautifully executed project for the right price. The problem is most homeowners don't know how much construction projects cost. We’ll work with you on every aspect of your budget so you know exactly what it costs. This way you can enjoy the entire process instead of fearing the outcome.
To ensure that both the homeowners and the builders are covered from a legal standpoint during construction, we generate a detailed construction contract. We’ll review the contract together before all parties sign. This gives you protection during your remodel.
At this point we have your budget and a signed construction contract, but you still don’t know what is about to take place in your home. This is where we share our project and payment calendar with you. In this document, you will learn how to get your house ready for construction. It will have a week-by-week breakdown of the work we will perform, along with a payment schedule.
Now let’s start building! If you ask any homeowner who’s done renovations, they’ll say it’s a massive inconvenience with your house in shambles and having to live out of a suitcase or in the middle of a construction war zone. With our Design to Build model and our project calendar, we’ve been able to streamline the entire process and get it finished in the most efficient way possible, so your discomfort is as short as possible.
To ensure that the project is seamless and nothing falls through the cracks (literally), your Project Manager will meet with you on a weekly basis. This is to review the project status and building milestones.
We will close out your project with a final walkthrough. This is where you and the project manager will create a final punch list of items and actions that need to be done to finalize the project.
Once the punch list is completed, a professional construction clean up will take place to ensure that all construction debris is gotten rid of. When they’re done, there will be no trace left of the building process.
Finally, what better way to end than with a complimentary professional photo session? We can schedule a pictorial with your family and your new home on a day and time of your choice.
