AN EXPANDED UPDATED REMODEL

Our clients wanted a brighter, more modern home where they could continue to spend quality family time together. But the problem was space. We solved it by building a bump out on the first floor that added close to 480 square feet, making the kitchen, family room, and guest bedroom into functional spaces.

OUR GOAL: Update the look and feel of the home

We brought this home back into the 21st century by updating the fireplace, installing beautiful Medallion hardwood floors, and placing high-end Fabrica carpet.

EXPANDED KITCHEN SPACE

OUR GOAL: Make more room in the kitchen

By bumping out the first floor, the kitchen doubled in size allowing for a walk-in pantry, a large island with seating for four, and plenty of storage space.

SECLUDED MASTER BATH

OUR GOAL: Create a personal sanctuary for mom and dad

By flipping the location of the master bedroom closets with the master bath, we were able to build a private place, equipped with a separate water closet, double vanity, built-in armoire, and a private shower with a tucked away bench seat.

FUN AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

OUR GOAL: Create more storage & make it bright

The bump out allowed us to introduce functional storage areas to keep clutter to a minimum. In the hallway, we added an audio/video closet, and under the stairs, we designed custom pull-out cabinets for shoe storage. Plus, we saturated the walls with bold colors and added Craftsman trim around the doors and windows to give the home an exciting brightness.
