Where Creative Design Meets Quality Building

The Woodcliff story began when owner and President Joey Kochanski was in kindergarten. He’d had a bright orange toolbox that was emblazoned with “Joey’s Tools” but hadn’t remembered the toolbox until his father gifted that very same box to Joey’s son in 2018. That was when he realized his love for building began at such an early age.

After eight years of custom home building with a general contractor in San Jose, Joey set out to start his own company with its own values and vision. In 2012, he charted his own path, taking the name of the street he grew up on: Woodcliff.
